Humdrum World Music Festival

This years performances include Fabrizia and her students doing traditional Indian Bharatnatyam dancing, Gwinny singing her lovely original songs, Wildwood playing their highly original didgeridoo and hang drum pieces, Tanook the unique drum kit duo who blew us all away last year, Ant Sauchella performing his incredible sound journey, Momerath playing a beautiful blend of folk and alternative music, the amazing Crust Collective fire dancers the extremely LOUD Halfmoon Drum Circle and the wonderful Soma band playing their unique Indo-Afro-Didgeriblues music to take us all to a higher level! This year we also have a second stage for open mic sessions with its own PA system so have a go yourself! All this alongside morning Hindu puja ceremonies followed by yoga sessions and energetic kirtans (group mantra chanting) followed by Ant Sauchella’s Sound Journeys to start the day off with a dip into higher consciousness! Workshops include djembe drumming and didgeridoo with Chris Puleston, also for the kids (of all ages!) children’s arts and crafts, Roots games, Hula Hooping, a great bug hunt with “Hairy Snakepit” Kevin and slime and light workshops with “Brainy Lainy”! As if this were not enough to top it all off we have wonderful hand cooked vegetarian and vegan food prepared with love by the rightly famous Fee Puleston. Yum yum, tuck in! Please read the attached program and flyer for more detail. Weekend camping single £55, family £110, day ticket Saturday £20 Sunday £10.
